How much is shipping?
We have a flat rate for shipping.
Currently the subscription box is $5.99 for US and $29.99 for International.
This flat rate will vary for books outside of the subscription as it could be more or less than 2 books.
Please note: All VAT, border fees, or import duties are at the responsibility of the receiver. Any boxes returned to us due to the lack of payment will receive no refund and is responsible for any reshipment costs.
What comes in a subscription box?
Each subscription box will have two hardcover books, an art print, a bookmark, and an enamel pin inspired by the books.
What is the difference between the exclusives and subscription?
Our subscription is currently every quarter which have been dubbed Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Subscription boxes come with an art print, bookmark, and enamel pin.
Exclusives are sold outside of the box and will not come with any additional items.
The exclusives are not going to ship as soon as our sub boxes are scheduled, as the sale is open for a month (or until sold out if it is limited) and is sent to the printer once the sale has completed.
Where can I find sneak peeks of the books?
We post all sneak peeks on our Instagram page (@lunaandloreshop) or in our Facebook group (Luna & Lore Mythos). Sometimes the members in our Facebook group get sneak peeks in advance or even secret ones that we do not share on Instagram.
When will I receive my books?
For the subscription: We order the books before the charge date so the boxes can be shipped the month after you are charged for it. Example: Spring box is charged on February 25th, box is shipped in March.
For our preorders: They are sent to the printers after the sale is completed. You could receive it anywhere from 3-6 months after purchase as printing and shipping takes time.
In stock orders: All orders of items currently in stock in the shop should ship out within 7 business days of purchase.
Note: We will update on any delays or issues we encounter that may affect this timeline.
What is the best way to find updates on the status of books?
Occasionally we will send out an email with updates but the best way to find the most up to date status on projects and shipping can be found on our Instagram (@lunaandloreshop) page as well as this FAQ page.
Where can I find information on which events you are attending as a vendor?
Information on events we are attending and the exclusives for that event can be found in the Event section below or via our Instagram (@lunaandloreshop).
What if I'm not attending the event, can I still order the exclusive?
If we open our event exclusive to the public for preorder, we would make that announcement before the sale date.
If we do not open the sale to the public, any extras we have after the event would be sold on our site during one of spare sales.
I missed out on a book set, can I purchase it at a later date?
If we have any books leftover after the initial sale, we will announce a spare sale which would include all of the imperfect sets as well which are sold at a discounted price.
What is your customer support response time?
You can expect a response to any customer inquires or order questions typically within 3 business days.
You are unlikely to receive a response on the weekend.
How do I recommend an author or book series for your box?
We have a post on our Instagram that you can tag the authors in.
We also have an author interest form in our Instagram bio link that could be sent to the author.
Other than that, we don't mind Instagram messages and do our best to check them!
Shipping Updates
Summer 2024 Box
August 31st: Packing has been completed and boxes are scheduled for pick up on September 3rd.
September 3rd: All shipping has been completed.
Deep Waters Exclusive
August 31st: Book 1 (Whispers of the Deep) is currently being printed and is expected to ship from the printer mid September.
Book 2 (Song of the Abyss) is delayed on printing as the commissions have not been completed. These will be shipped to everyone at a later date. We are currently estimating October for an arrival date. A more accurate estimate will be provided mid-late September.
September 25th: Whispers of the Deep will arrive at the event venue in the next few days and will be available for pick up.
Song of the Abyss is still in commission stages. More updates on this will be provided soon.
November 11th: Books are currently in production. Updates on completion and arrival will be provided soon.
November 24th: Estimated shipping is January 2025.
January 18th: There were a few mistakes in the production of Song of the Abyss, the books are now complete and should be shipped within the week. Estimated shipping from HQ is mid to end of February.
Fall 2024 Box
September 2nd: In production, more updates coming soon!
November 11th: Books have been completed and will be shipping to HQ this week. Update on arrival will be provided soon.
November 24th: Books are arriving to HQ mid-December and will ship out promptly after receiving and QCing has been completed.
December 31st: All orders have shipped.
Winter 2024 Box
September 2nd: On track to go to production on time.
November 11th: Books will be going to the printers this week.
November 24th: Estimated shipping is January 2025.
January 18th: Hardcovers will now only feature one foil color instead of two, due to the black foil not adhering to the fabric. Printing is estimated to be complete by January 22nd. Estimate shipping from HQ is the end of February - beginning of March.

Book Harvest Book Convention
